Mercedes have announced they will be building two limited-edition models of the widely popular G63 and G65. This news comes just a couple of weeks prior to the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show!
This model is aptly named the “Exclusive Edition” which will be limited volume model before the arrival of the new Mercedes Benz G Class.
The power Exclusive Edition output’s have not changed so the G63 AMG Exclusive is a 5.5l V8 kicking out 563BHP and the G65 Exclusive Edition will punch out 621BHP. Torque figures read out at 560lb ft and 737lb ft respectively.
Although both Mercedes G63 and Mercedes G65 Exclusive Edition keep the same power output’s as previous derivatives they benefit heavily from aesthetic upgrades. These include an exclusive Grey Paint, Stainless Kick Plate, AMG Racing Stripes and Body Coloured Spare Wheel Cover.
The G63 AMG will benefit from a 21 inch Matt Black Alloy similar to previous AMG models including a C63 AMG S. However, the G65 AMG Exclusive Edition will show off a 21 inch Carbon Fibre Style Finish.
For the moment, UK figures have not been announced but with the Frankfurt Motor Show fast approaching, we can’t imagine it will too long.
It may just look like your average Mercedes Benz A Class, it just isn't. We introduce to you the Engineered by AMG A250. This car, although not as rapid as the A45 AMG will certainly pull your socks up.
Born from the A Class range, this is the Hot Hatch without spending the extra money for that A45 AMG. Benefiting from a 211bhp 2.0l engine and seven-speed double clutch gearbox reaching a top speed of 149MPH.
Aesthetically the only differences are the red front and rear apron stripes, sport seating, red interior stitching and red fan surrounds.
Sadly, the car was advertised for less than two hours and SOLD. Collected as well.

Because the car industry is an ever-changing market place, companies are moving into uncharted territory. The dawn of 4x4 supercars is now upon us. Models included, the Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga and Maserati Levante.
So, Mercedes Benz have now released images of what can be described as a new breed of vehicle, a “premium pick-up”.
First of all, Mercedes Benz are looking to build two models based upon the Nissan-Renault according to reports. The same chassis can be found in the Navara and Alaskan.
“Powerful Adventurer” and “Stylish Explorer”. The off-road orientated creation and premium creation respectively. As a result of Mercedes decision to produce the X-Class, they have described this as “one of the last gaps in our (Mercedes Benz) portfolio” to be completed.
Mercedes Benz have made this concept their own. Not much has been said about the X Class exterior design, however, the most noteworthy feature is the rear tailgate oval lighting setup. Sadly, being a concept we suspect this may be removed once the vehicle reaches the production line.
The interior in both models are certainly Mercedes, see for yourself with the concept image generated from Mercedes. While testament is due to the design of the X-Class, it seems like their colour coordinator has not got the eye as expected...
Furthermore, why shouldn’t Mercedes do this? In addition, Mercedes offer a wide range of products including, small hatchbacks, articulated lorry tractor unit, passenger carriers and even agricultural vehicles.
More on the car as and when it is released. For now just enjoy the stunning pickup, the exterior of the Stylish Explorer and the Interior of the Powerful Adventurer.

Attention to all Executive car users around the globe, it is official, the release of the new Mercedes Benz E-Class is imminent. There is even a video.
A smaller Mercedes Benz S-Class, a bigger Mercedes C-Class? Regardless of the design, you cannot dispute it has inherited the DNA from both C-Class and S-Class models. However, there isn’t a great deal of exterior changes to note other than the size of the car has increased by some 40mm.
Moving to the inside, the front of the cabin, including centre console, dashboard and drivers display have been completely overhauled. First impressions of the new cabin give off a luxurious atmosphere and a technological haven. Less “boxy” and sharp and smoother with elegant curves. A simplistic centre console which is taken from the newest Mercedes Benz S-Class.
The most noticeable of features from the interior is the overhaul to the drivers display. Firstly making it an LED display but also extending it parallel to the outer edge of the centre console. From here your typical features can be utilised including the COMAND system, Camera’s, On-Board computer setup and Telephone items. There are plenty of features in the new Mercedes Benz E-Class which can be summarised in a separate article (there is just so much).
The introduction of an all-new 2.0l engine for the entry level E220d. Engine power starts at 195hp and recorded CO2 of 102g/km and an increase of miles per gallon to 72.4mpg. Yes there will be an E350d and a E350e (hybrid plug-in), respectively outputting 258hp and 279hp. All the engines will benefit from the automatic 9-speed gearbox.
Multi-Chamber suspension is a first in the E-Class allowing you to select a different firmness setting. Firstly you can operate under the Soft Base Suspension setting, providing safe stability in the handling of the car. Furthermore, the option to select four modes include the Sport, Sport+ (Sport Plus), Eco and Comfort.
On-top of the features above, this model benefits from a whole host of technological upgrades including, Crosswind Assist, Steering Pilot and Lane-Change Assistant, Drive Pilot, Evasive Steering Assist, Active Brake Assist, Attention Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Pre-Safe Sound.
Dates for availability and pricing has yet to have been announced. Mercedes Benz also released a short trailer “teasing” the new model.
