Ferrari have made noticeable improvements on the exterior and interior features of the new Ferrari Portofino. From the front end it borrow's a similar design to the GTC4Lusso and revised bonnet louvers.
Moving up the side a revised side vent system which shows an uncanny resemblance to the Aston Martin DB11. Furthermore a sleek implementation of a sports sill from front to rear really compliments the overall design.
And finally a very attractive rear, whilst maintaining the quad-exhaust setup they have now introduced the revised taillight setup.
It has most certainly been derived from the Cali T but also give’s Ferrari’s introductory model a new lease of life. Starting with the all-new chassis, Ferrari have reportedly reduced the weight significantly whilst increasing torsional rigidity.
Ferrari’s nominated V8 “Engine of the Year” in 2016 and 2017 has been revised to output an extra 40cv or 590bhp!! It has had a considerable overhaul from component revision, engine management software calibration and new moving parts.
With regards to the 590bhp output, this mean’s the car will achieve a 0-62mph figure of just 3.5 seconds. Combined with the V8 sound this drive can only be experienced best with the retractable hard-top down.
Ferrari are now introducing two features for the first time, Electronic Rear Diff (E-Diff3) system and F1-Trac. With the aforementioned, mechanical grip has said to be greatly improved and handling on the limit finely tuned.
