The aim of the game is very simple, all you have to do is tell us what the car is, provide a Manufacturer and Model and you win, it is as simple as that.
Let the guessing begin...
Once again, the Geneva Motor Show did not fail to impress with an extensive range of vehicles on show. It wasn’t just the supercars like Aston Martin, Maserati and Bugatti aiming to make a point this year, but huge leaps from Manufacturers such as Skoda, Volvo and even the hard to pronounce Ssangyong Tivoli.
Geneva Stand-out models:
Bugatti Chiron – How can you improve on the hypercar that became an overnight generation sensation? Well Bugatti have stated the ALL NEW Chiron will have a new W16 Engine, 7,993 cm3 displacement, 1600nm of Torque and 4x Turbochargers giving it 1,500HP!
Aston Martin DB11 – Derived from the DB10 in the blockbuster James Bond film Spectre. Orders are coming in for the first of the new generation Aston Martin’s. Maximum output of 600BHP and 700nm Torque. 0-62mph in 3.9secs which continues onto a top speed of 200mph.
Maserati Levante – Maserati are about to make their SUV debut and with quite an impression. The Levante is a 3.0 V6 with 275hp output, a 143MPH top speed and a 0-62mph of 6.9secs. Availability is suspected to be in early 2017.
Apollo Arrow – The successor to the hugely under-rated Gumpert, Apollo have launched an all new supercar. Producing an eye-watering 986BHP, this 4.0bi-turbo V8 can comfortably hit a top speed of 224mph and a 0-62mph of 2.9secs.
Audi Q2 – Introduced within Audi’s ‘Q’ family as the baby of the SUV’s, Audi are looking to appeal to a broader and younger market. Taller but smaller than a Audi A3, where would it fit in with the every growing Audi range?
Ferrari GTC4Lusso – Say bye to the Ferrari FF, Ferrari have launched the new GTC4Lusso. The name is not as obscure as it seems? GTC refers to a handful of predecessors including the 330 GT and GTC and the personal favourite of Enzo Ferrari the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. The ‘4’ becomes obvious as it continues the 4-Seater tradition.
It remains a 6.3l V12 with 680hp and 697Nm of Torque. Performance, being a Ferrari is sure to be impressive with a maximum speed of 208mph and a 0-62mph performance in 3.4sec.

First thing I ever seem to notice when looking at the BMW 7 Series is the monstrous front grille and swopping front lights, towards the front arches. Gone are the days of ‘E’ and ‘F’ Series in with the new ‘G’ series. G11 to be precise.
With new models is always new technology – this BMW is no exception to the rule. Being BMW’s flagship, the 7 Series is essentially the most important item of them all. As like previous models you will be able to purchase the Long Wheel Base [LWB] version for an additional cost, more on this to follow.
Exterior shots of the car, show a towering presence with piercing headlamps a long sloping bonnet with a proud front grille typically associated with the BMW 7 Series. From what we can see extended side skirts with accompanying black styling leads onto the rear with a prominent back end and integrated twin-wide tailpipes.
The main selling point for this ilk of car is the interior and technological advancements. The luxurious environment benefits from a combination of comforting leather, well placed metal finishing and quality wood finishes creating an air of opulence. There is no short of leg-room in both the Standard and Long Wheel Base models providing that additional comfort edge. Without completely immersing yourself in the costs and tailored quality of let’s say Bentley Motors, you will be hard pressed to find something south of £65,000.00
Although everything is wonderful stationary, the real test is being driven in / driving the car. After all you will still need to attend those important meetings via transportation (no we still have not invented time travel). After driving countless miles on the road, city or motorway driving in all types of vehicles wind and engine can becoming an underlying irritation. Thankfully BMW once again have got this right, the road noise is barely noticeable driving within the designated speed limits.
Comfortability is noted with the 19 inch wheels that are standard with the vehicle, yes 20 inch alloy wheels are available and there is difference in ride quality but it is fractional. Another useful standard feature is the Air Suspension system, which from sources is available across all models of BMW 7 Series.
So to the tech!
From reports, BMW have claimed over 20 new technological additions to the flagship with over 0 being industry first.
Gesture Control System, Touch Command System via a Samsung Tablet provides access to a variety of apps. Pinch, Grab, Dismiss Calls and Organise Navigation and Volume Adjustments. Vitality Programme Massage, Wi-Fi is now a standard feature, Parking Camera System and a feature called Welcome Light Carpet, LED Lit Sky Panoramic Sunroof and a Display Key.
0-62mph: 6.1 seconds
Top Speed: 155mph

Now, BMW have a habit of releasing vehicles which are “concept” models, only to hit the production line and only change the very minor details. So why would the latest model BMW M4 GTS be any different?
Reports say that the M4 GTS will use similar technology to that used in the MotoGP safety car. Known as “water injection technology”, oddly enough projecting water into the manifolds, cooling air and allow for decreased injection timing and increase pressure.
Forecasting of the power statistics, we would like to see this car hitting over 500BHP and 0-62mph in under 4.0 seconds. Naturally the direct competition would be the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG S. Benefiting from over 500BHP in the new 4.0 V8 Twin-Turbo model.
BMW must have thought long and hard about where not to put Carbon Fibre, pretty much most of the car is designed in it. Less weight but immense downforce from the enlarged rear spoiler help keep the car stuck to the road. No back flipping BMW’s on our watch.
There seems to be an Acid Orange theme developing with the inner circle of the forged alloy wheels and lipped front apron. Various additional features include widened front intakes and OLED’s Rear Lighting.
As the successor to the BMW M3 GTS and its limited supply run, will this BMW M4 GTS follow suit and how much of a collector’s item could this become?
...but not on their own. As it seems, BMW and Toyota are looking to develop the project over the coming years to bring the alternative fuel source of Hydrogen to the market. There are not a lot of details given in regards to the hydrogen fuelled cars other than, by 2020 BMW aim to have created “industry-approved” components.
Now, BMW have been down this road before creating the Hydrogen 7 model reaching a mere 124 miles on Hydrogen. The latest 5 Series GT is testament to their steps forward in development now reaching well over 300 miles between stops.
All we know that is under-the-hood, 245BHP engine which OK, packs a punch it wouldn't set the world on fire like the BMW i8 did. Let us not forget there is still another 4 ½ years to go!
This isn't the last of renewable sources, BMW also have previously developed systems for the BMW 1 Series Hatchback models. Water is fired finely into the engine, evaporation takes place to then cool combustion by 25 degree’s Celsius. The need for replenishment will be little as the car will syphon condensed water from the air conditioning unit.
We will keep you update with the latest developments!
